Lady Elizabeth Chaplin, née Cecil (1729-1813) was a daughter of Brownlow, 8th Earl of Exeter (1701-1754), and his wife Hannah Sophia and a favourite sister of Brownow, the 9th Earl (1725-1793).
She married John Chaplin of Blankney, Lincs. in 1757. Sophia Chaplin was her husband’s niece.
