Two Chelsea cups and saucers, circa 1760.

Each double ogée cup and hexafoil saucer is decorated in the Vincennes style, with various exotic birds and vegetation in tooled gilding within an irregular mazarin blue border, below a gilt dentil rim.

Each carries the gold anchor mark, denoting a period of production from 1756 to 1769, when Chelsea was drawing inspiration from the French Sèvres manufactury.
