Each double ogée cup and hexafoil saucer is decorated in the Vincennes style with various exotic birds and vegetation in tooled gilding within an irregular mazarin blue border, below a gilt dentil rim. Each carries the gold anchor mark, denoting a period of production from 1756 to 1769, when inspiration was being drawn from the French Sèvres manufactury.
