An opaque white glass snuff bottle, Chinese, 1750-1850.

The bottle has raised panels on each side and is decorated in famille-rose enamels.

One side depicts two quail with chrysanthemums and a butterfly, the other, a single quail with a stalk of millet.

The shoulders are carved in relief with trailing prunus blossom, 6.6cm.
