An ivory carved snuff bottle, four character mark and period of Qianlong, (1736-1795).

The bottle is carved in high relief with the figure of Guanyin standing on the head of a dragon, its scaly body extending around the reverse to envelop a robed boy holding a sceptre, 6.7cm. Thought to have been made in the Beijing Palace Workshops.
