The oval frame is applied with scrollwork and set with turquoises and garnets. It is topped with a Continental Count’s coronet and has an easel support. The frame is thought to have belonged to either Isabella, wife of Brownlow, 2nd Marquess of Exeter, or her daughter-in-law, Georgina, wife of William Alleyne, 3rd Marquess.
