The Head of Saint Joseph, after Raphael (1483-1520).

Oil on canvas, unlined, 43cm by 34cm.

There is a sketch, dated 1750, on the reverse of the painting which is a copy of a detail taken from Raphael’s Holy Family under the Oak Tree, now in the Prado Museum in Madrid.
