A Worcester armorial jug, circa 1790.

The heavy baluster body, which is 21cm. in height, is enamelled with the arms of Exeter, reserved on a deep yellow ground.
The Worcester porcelain factory was established in 1751, and the brand is one of the oldest still in existence in England. It received its first Royal Warrant, (the first of three) from King George III in 1788.
