A woolwork still-life of peaches and grapes, late 18th or early 19th Century.

The still-life was worked by Anne Wentworth, Countess Fitzwilliam of Northborough.

The 1763 Burghley Inventory records, in a later hand: ‘Breakfast room…..Peaches & grapes worked by Dow. Lady Fitzwilliam.’ 39cm by 33cm.
