A glass overlay snuff bottle, Chinese, 1820-1920.

The bottle has a multi-coloured overlay on an ochre ground.

The body is carved to simulate the skin of a pomegranate, overlaid with vivid green leaves and with red seeds emerging from the side, 6.3cm.

Attributed to Beijing.
