The Brothers (Gebruder) Bing were one of the most prominent toy makers in Germany. They started making toys in the late 1800’s.
Production grew to the point where, in 1905, Bing boasted the largest toy factory in the world.
Once coveted by every schoolboy, steam models declined in popularity after 1960 as electronic toys replaced them.
