Each is painted with a band of formal scrolling foliage reserved on a pale green-striped orange ground detailed in gilding.
Both carry interlaced Ls and LG marks on the base and the saucer also carries a crown and an applied sticker with the name I. Exeter and the date 1901.
Isabella Exeter (1857-1917) was the widow of Brownlow, 4th Marquess of Exeter (1849-1898).
1901 was the year in which her son William, 5th Marquess of Exeter (1876-1956) was married to Myra Orde Powlett (1879-1973).
