One roundel depicts the Adoration of the Kings, the other the Nativity, in blue, green and red enamel, enriched with gold, 3.2cm diameter.
They are mounted in a 17th Century ebonised wood frame.
The roundels were once thought to be rare survivals from the early 15th Century which had undergone restoration in the 19th Century, but modern research and scholarship has deemed them to be wholly 19th Century.
