One of these tiny jewel-like roundels depicts The Adoration of the Kings and the other, The Nativity.
Lustrous blue, green and red enamel is enriched with gold and they are mounted in a 17th Century ebonised wood frame.
Once thought to have been rare examples of mediaeval Burgundian craftsmanship, the roundels are now considered to be either German or French and probably date from the late 19th Century, 3.2cm in diameter.
