A pair of Meissen pot pourri jars and covers, 18th Century.

The pierced jars are of compressed globular form and are supported on three rudimentary stalk feet.

The sides and shallow domed covers are applied with trailing fruit and flowers, which form a handle, and are enamelled with naturalistic butterflies and insects, 18cm.

There are traces of blue marks on the base.
