The dishes, which measure 23cm in diameter, are decorated in underglaze blue, and iron-red with gilding. The central panel, which is also of chrysanthemum-form, is painted with buildings in a rocky, mountainous, riverine landscape; the surrounding cavetto with a band of chrysanthemum and peony flowers and buds.
