The rectangular caddies, one with a caddy spoon, and the sugar box have sliding lids, each engraved with a border of husks and the Cecil crest below an earl’s coronet.
They sit within a velvet-lined mahogany case with a decorative gilt-metal handle and hinged cover.
One caddy and the sugar box carry the mark of Aaron Lestourgeon, London, 1776 and the other caddy, the mark of Charles Aldridge and Henry Green, London, 1781.
