Each on four beaded incurved supports with leaf-carved scroll feet, 70cm by 60cm.
The 1763 Burghley Inventory, which continued to be added to up to 1785, records: ‘the dressing room to the George rooms….2 Small tables Gilt frames painted w’t Flowers Feathers in ye center.’
