A pair of George III giltwood tables, circa 1780.

The rectangular tops with chamfered corners and inset with watercolour panels of feathers within wide floral borders and beaded frame, each on four beaded incurved supports with leaf-carved scroll feet, 70cm by 60cm.

1763 Inventory: (added to up to 1785) “the dressing room to the George rooms….2 Small tables Gilt frames painted w’t Flowers Feathers in ye center.”
