A glass snuff bottle, 18th Century.

The bottle has a clear body suffused with waves of green edged in white. It is one of a distinctive group, each of which was blown into a mould. The decoration was then applied, using various metallic oxides to give the different colours, this layer was then covered by a clear glass layer to fix and protect the decoration, 5.3cm.
