A late 19th Century garniture of Gien faience fine vases.

The vases, 27cm. and 30cm. in height, are decorated in rose pink, after Niderviller originals. Niderviller in Lorraine is one of the most famous French manufacturers of the tin-glazed earthenware known as faience. The factory began producing faience in 1735 and still does today, decorating its wares predominantly in a deep magenta pink.
