A group of four 19th Century fob seals.

A gold fob seal, the chased openwork handle enclosing two chased scallop shells above a snake biting its own tail, with a blank cornelian matrix.

A gold snake swivel seal, the white chalcedony matrix engraved on one side with the name ‘Isabella’, beneath a coronet, and on the other, with the initials of Isabella Poyntz (1803-1879), wife of Brownlow, 2nd Marquess of Exeter (1795-1867).

Attached to this is a tiny white chalcedony fob seal with the name ‘Isabella’, beneath a coronet, engraved on it.

The fourth is a tassel-shaped crystal seal in a reeded gold setting, the matrix of which is engraved with the Exeter arms beneath a coronet.
