The cover of this small box is inset with a honey-coloured dendritic agate panel featuring a fern-like occlusion.
The border and bombé sides are chased with monkeys and other small creatures amongst bushes.
It is possibly of Chinese origin, but made for the European market, 5.8cm in diameter.
