The moulded mantel with a guilloche-carved edge, above a pink mottled marbled frieze carved with festooned paterae and centred on a tablet carved with Venus awakening.

The jambs carved with leafy volutes and pendant flowerheads, the headers with wheatear-bordered oval medallions, 160cm by 207cm.
