A Chinese famille-verte saucer dish, Kangxi (1662-1722).

The dish is decorated with flowers and butterflies amongst rocks, within a diaper reserved border.

The term famille-verte refers to Chinese porcelain wares manufactured largely during the Kangxi period of the Qing dynasty (1662-1722).

The colour range included yellow, blue, red, purple and green, usually on a white ground, 26.5cm in diameter.
