A porcelain snuff bottle, Jiaqing (1796-1820).

The bottle is moulded overall with nine Buddhist lions playing with brocade balls and decorated with ‘famille-rose’ enamels on a white cloud ground.

The base is inscribed in red with the seal jiaqing nianzhi, translated as: made in the Jiaqing period.

Made in Jingdezhen.
