A porcelain snuff bottle, Chinese, Jiaqing (1796-1820).

The bottle is moulded with nine Buddhist lions on a pierced ground of clouds, covered overall in a red glaze, imitating coral.

The base with a gilded seal mark, Jiaqing nianzhi, meaning made in the Jiaqing period, 5.7cm high.

Made in Jingdezhen.
