A cloisonné enamel snuff bottle, 1770-1820.

The bottle is of flattened form, with a black ground panel on each side enclosing flowering prunus and butterflies, reserved on a turquoise ground filled with lotus flowers and trailing tendrils.

There is a collar of acanthus leaves around the neck, 6.6cm.

Early cloisonné enamel snuff bottles are uncommon.
