A 19th Century Royal Worcester blush-ivory-ground pot pourri vase, cover and liner.

The vase, decorated with flowers and gilding, has the date code for 1898/9 on the base, 13.5cm high.

The Worcester porcelain factory was established in 1751, and the brand is one of the oldest still in existence in England.

It received its first Royal Warrant, the first of three, from King George III in 1788, although the company now known as Royal Worcester was formed in 1862.
